Built with a 1967 FLH in mind this '78 Harley Davidson FLH has the look of the day with the performance upgrades that make it one incredible, dependable rider. From a short put to rolling 70 mph on down the road she's got you covered.
A High Compression Alternator/Generator style 93ci S & S Engine right out of the crate is at the heart of it all with Dual Plug Heads, Single Fire Ignition Distributor, All Balls High Torque Starter, Compu-Fire 38 Amp Charging System, a 350 CCA Sealed Battery and an Engine Oil Cooler where a Generator would be...perfect!
Set up with the cruising advantage of a 5 Speed with its' Custom Chrome Trans in a 4 Speed Case along with a 45 Tooth Chrome Rear Sprocket, O Ring Chain, Primary Chain Drive, GMA Front & Rear Brakes, 1995 and up Handlebar Controls w/ Self Cancelling Turn Signal Module and True Dual Exhaust with Fishtail Mufflers. Set up with both Kick and Electric Start.
Painted a 1967 Era paint scheme in a show stopping Riviera Red with Gold Flake Metallic that does incredible color changes in the sun and a distinct Charcoal Gray Metallic set off with the '67 Harley Davidson Tank Emblems. The Frame was Powder Coated Gloss Black and all the brackets painted black. New 5 gallon tanks were part of the build along with the 2 Up Mustang Saddle. Has been ridden some 10k miles with all maintenance performed as needed. New Dunlop tires front and rear installed about 700 miles ago along with new brake pads.
